Will Planned Parenthood be on the WRONG Side of History?

It’s become pretty common to hear people say that taking a stand on a particular issue either places you on the “right side” or the “wrong side” of history.

I’ve been thinking a lot about this lately as it relates to abortion.

I wonder if there will ever come a day when we look back on the killing of the unborn as the greatest genocide in the history of mankind.  Will those who supported it, or did nothing to fight against it be regarded with the same judgement and disdain as those who were apathetic toward Hitlers holocaust or Stalins genocide?

It’s easy for us to make judgements as it relates to their day. Easy because we’re on this side of history and we can see those evils for what they were.  We’re not seduced by the charisma of leaders who had their own agendas nor the propaganda of their current pop-culture. We’re immune to the manipulation and deception used to justify these horrific atrocities.

So in 80 years will our grandchildren look back on our day with judgement and disdain?  Will they be asking us “How could you have let that happen?”

Will they look at Planned Parenthood Clinics the way we view Nazi Death camps?  Will they scoff at our explanation when we tell them we wanted to give a Woman her Right to Choose?  Will the “Pro-Choice” campaign stand the test of time or will the propaganda of current pop-culture feel hollow and empty after 50 years of reflection?

When historians view our day, I wonder what they’ll say.
